Ball of Life (2014)

While completing the Progress of Love I became interested in the sphere as a shape and wanted to take that character further. I imagined it having a life outside of 18^th century France, rolling through various landscapes, intriguing to some and foreboding to others. These four paintings follow a ball made up of objects from my surroundings as it travels to its final destination, Vancouver.
